One of the coolest developments leading up to the publication of When Things Get Personal was the realization that I shared a publication date with one of the most similar books that I have found - Yael Schonbrun’s fabulous Why Don’t You Understand Me? She brought me onto her Substack to celebrate the joint publication of our books on publication day, and we discussed similar themes and I share bits of some of the stories in my book.
